guest room nightstand

this past summer i was gifted with a beautiful little dresser {for free!}.  the best part is that i was actually looking for this exact piece to use as an end table in our guest bedroom.

the paint was chipping and one of the drawers needed fixing.

thankfully it was an easy fix with a couple of nails.

i painted the entire dresser using a chalk paint recipe.  the color i used was nantucket fog by benjamin moore.  it is a perfect combination of blue and gray.  i also applied a dark and clear wax over the paint in order to antique the piece and protect it.

it was begging for some new pulls, so i gave it what it wanted.  i love the simple rings with this piece.

the dark wax really helped bring out the details in the dresser.

i love how well it works in the bedroom and the extra storage space is coming in very handy.
