our house was built without a bathroom, but thankfully one was eventually added. when we moved in five years ago, there wasn't much to be done in this room except for some cosmetic updates and a good cleaning. we painted the walls, including a stenciled wallpaper and added a frame to the large mirror. we also painted the tile grout like we did in the mudroom and laundry room, which really helped freshen up the whole room.
